Getting there
Reach the Old Man Gen’s House bell in Pangzhen, then walk downhill from it. The scarecrow sits ahead of you on the slope, and interacting with it is what starts the fight.
If the slope is still walled off, you are missing the Dormant Flaming Mane — the brambles on the southwestern cliff have to be burned away before the path down opens.
Moves and how to answer them
- 01
Triple Bolt Sequence
How to answer: Her clone slashes, she teleports again, and three bolts follow. Three blue flashes come in quick succession: delay the first parry a fraction, tap block twice more, then dodge the red finisher.

- 02
Lightning Bolt
How to answer: Single bolts thrown outside the triple string, usually as an alternate combo ender. Parry them rather than eating them — the deflect is free damage to her guard, and she has little else worth punishing.

- 03
Lightning Nova
How to answer: A ring that spreads across the ground and is both unblockable and undodgeable. Jump straight over it as it reaches you — this is the one attack in her kit a dodge roll cannot answer.

How to fight her
One chain decides the fight
Her main string is the only place in the encounter where her guard actually breaks, and it is also the only part of her kit you can learn outright. Everything else she does is attrition: single bolts, charged ground, a step back into another string.
That is the shape of the fight. You are not trying to out-damage her — you are waiting for the one sequence, clearing it, and cashing the guard break. The rest of the time you are just not dying.
The nova is the one attack that ignores the rules
Block or dodge answers every other move she has. The Lightning Nova is the exception: it cannot be blocked and the roll does not clear it, because it travels along the floor rather than through you.
Remember that it exists. It is the one place in the fight where the correct input is neither of the two you have been using all encounter.
The rest is attrition, and that is fine
Outside the triple string she throws single bolts as alternate combo enders and pressures you with electrified ground. Neither is complicated, and neither is where you die.
The fight only runs long when the triple chain keeps getting away from you. Once you land it consistently, her health bar moves in visible chunks.
