At a glance
| # | Boss | Type | Drops | Note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 6 | Hua Qianxiao | Maskwalker | The Fanatic’s Broken Blade | Bubble barrier, break it before you commit |
| 7 | Jing Ye | Maskwalker | Outlaw Warblade | Mounted → shield → sword |
| 8 | Stone Hand Iron Fever | Maskwalker | Iron Gauntlets | Not the same boss as Iron Fiend |
| 9 | Bai Chilian | Maskwalker | White Serpent & Crimson Viper, Resonance Talisman | Chapter finale; has a missable ally |
Do this before the chapter boss: collect the six flowers
Crimson Forest contains six Memory Flowers left by the Vault (记忆之花·虚空). Collect all six and, when you reach Bai Chilian’s second phase, an ally joins the fight.
One flower per landmark: Mirror Forest entrance and its cave, the Bell Tomb, the Misty Forest, the mist-clearance cave to the north, and Mirror Forest Depths. None require backtracking if you are exploring as you go.
Stone Hand Iron Fever is not Iron Fiend
The chapter contains Stone Hand Iron Fever (拳痴·铁狂). One chapter later you fight Iron Fiend and Jade Dancer. They are unrelated bosses and the names are one word apart, which regularly sends people to the wrong region.
- Stone Hand Iron Fever — Crimson Forest, drops Iron Gauntlets, a normal solo fight.
- Iron Fiend and Jade Dancer — Village of Lu, third phase of the Mu Xiaokui fight, drops Fiend Saws.
If someone sends you to Crimson Forest for “Iron Fever”, they mean Stone Hand Iron Fever.
What each fight is actually testing
| Boss | The thing that kills people |
|---|---|
| Hua Qianxiao | The bubble barrier — it absorbs damage until broken, so chip damage before that is wasted |
| Jing Ye | Phase 2’s spiked shield, which reflects plain attacks |
| Stone Hand Iron Fever | Fury combos; mid-range baiting beats standing in front of him |
| Bai Chilian | Phase 2 airtime — you cannot reach her except on staggers |
Four fights, four different failure modes. That is why this chapter feels longer than its boss count.
Notes
- Order is fixed. You cannot reach Bai Chilian without clearing the other three.
- Jing Ye dismounts at about two-thirds health, not half.
- Hua Qianxiao is optional-adjacent — he is on the main route but his arena is easy to walk past if you take the wrong bridge.
- The Resonance Talisman from Bai Chilian is a +15% Sha-Chi accessory, which is why the chapter is worth finishing even if you are overleveled.
